The Dominican Republic Andres LNG Terminal Expansion project is POSCO E&C’s second LNG terminal project in Central and South America following the Panama project. The project scope includes installation of one LNG tank and expansion of the regasification facility with an annual capacity of 100 million tons in order to meet the rapidly increasing natural gas demand in the Dominican Republic.
POSCO E&C completed the basic design (FEED) in compliance with strict specifications set forth by the developer (AES) and succeeded in signing the EPC contract through intense competition. We expect to further upgrade our LNG terminal project execution capabilities by executing the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning operations for LNG storage tanks.
