The Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal project located in Java island, Indonesia consisted of two refrigerated LPG storage tanks, transmission facilities, as well as the jetty and auxiliary facilities. This project was ordered by Indonesia’s state-owned oil & gas company, PT. Pertamina.
POSCO E&C won the contract for this project by forming a consortium with PT. Wijaya Karya, a state-owned construction company of Indonesia. The contract value was approximately USD 140 million, where POSCO E&C mainly executed the design, procurement, installation, quality management, and commissioning operations for the installation of low-temperature storage tanks.
