Ilyang Pharmaceuticals Eumsung Vaccine Center has the largest influenza vaccine production line in Korea. With the gross floor area of 13,000㎡, this facility was built on a site of 89,000㎡. Ilyang Pharmaceuticals Vaccine Center produces high-quality vaccine products according to the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. With the completion of this plant, Korea has been able to secure a source of stable vaccine supply, leading to export of vaccines.  

The plant also provided a momentum for the development of Korea’s preventative medicine and pharmaceutical industry. While developing and producing vaccines at the Vaccine Center, Ilyang Pharmaceuticals has transformed from a company producing over-the-counter drugs, such as Wonbi-D, an energy drink, and Norumo, a drug for gastritis, to a prescription drug maker.
